Intro

Hello and welcome. Before I begin talking about my work, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Jennifer Atkins. As an artist, I'm interested in three primary areas: Graphic design, photography and fine art. I'm a 2011 graduate of Michigan State University where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in studio art with a concentration in graphic design. I took further classes at Lansing Community College this past fall where I gained skills in photography and web design. In the future, I plan on continuing my studies in both of these areas. Graphic Design

As a graphic designer, my work does not focus on one any particular subject area, as I am in early stages of my career and also because I desire to take on a wide variety of projects in order to make my portfolio as versatile as possible. In my design work, the number one thing I strive for is consistency. Secondly is simplicity. I believe that concise, simple design solutions are often the best ideas.
